Advantages of silicone sealing ring:

3. Has good resistance to neutral solvents.
4. Has good heat resistance. Silicone rubber has much better heat resistance than ordinary rubber, and can be used almost permanently at 150 ° C without any performance changes. It can be used continuously for 10000 hours at 200 ° C and for a period of time at 350 ° C. Widely used in applications that require heat resistance, such as sealing rings for hot water bottles and heat-resistant handles for pressure cookers.
5. Has good cold resistance. Ordinary rubber has a delay of -20 ° -30 °, while silicone rubber still has good elasticity at -60 ° -70 °. Some special formulas of silicone rubber can also withstand extremely low temperatures, such as low-temperature sealing rings.
6. Has good resistance to erosion by ozone and oxides.
7. Good electrical insulation performance.
8. Excellent insulation and heat dissipation.
Disadvantage: Not recommended for use in most thickened solvents, oils, thickened acids, and diluted sodium hydroxide.
TPE sealing ring products are divided into two types: oil resistant and non oil resistant. The oil resistant grade can withstand toluene, gasoline, engine oil, alcohol, etc. The product has good elasticity and compression deformation resistance, and can also be bonded with PP.
