Overview of O-ring: O-ring is a type of rubber sealing ring with a circular cross-section. Due to its O-ring cross-section, it is called an O-ring, also known as an O-ring. It first appeared in the mid-19th century as a sealing element for steam engine cylinders.
The purpose of using O-ring seals is to prevent leakage and loss of liquids or gases (usually referred to as introduction). Due to its simple installation, convenience, and small installation space, O-ring is the most commonly used type of seal. As long as the design and material selection of the groove are correct, and the working condition is within the temperature range of the rubber material, the sealing element can play a long-term sealing effect in the dynamic sealing of the static sealing box.
Description: The O-ring is a circular ring, usually made of elastic rubber (elastomer). Its dimensions are determined by the inner diameter and wire diameter C/S.
Fluorine rubber O-ring:
Fluororubber (FKM) O-ring:
Mainly used in various oil and wear-resistant, acid and alkali resistant, high-temperature resistant situations, with excellent comprehensive performance.
There are several types of fluororubber O-rings:
1. VITON-A: Fluorine content 66%, universal type
2. VITON-B: Fluorine content 67-68.5%, moderate fluoride content
3. VITON-GLT GFLT: Low temperature resistant type
4. VITON-ETP: resistant to more chemical media
5. VITON TFE/P (AFLAS): More acid and alkali resistance performance
6. VITON AED: Explosion proof type, used in the petroleum and gas industry
Polyurethane O-ring:
Polyurethane (PU) O-ring: mainly used in various oil resistant, wear-resistant, and pressure resistant or water resistant, wear-resistant, and pressure resistant situations. There are two main types of polyurethane O-rings provided by our company:
